About The Founder

Polina Korobitsyna

Polina is a high school student in Menlo Park, California. At age four, she moved to the United States from Russia. She has always been drawn to matters of equality and human rights -- taking American Law courses (John's Hopkins "Making Effective Legal Arguments", UPenn "Introduction to American Law" and internships, as well as advocating for women's issues through creative writing. With this project, she hopes to impact as many women as possible -- ensuring they feel as seen and respected as their male counterparts.

  • Takes around 7-10 years to diagnose someone with endometriosis

  • 25% of patients labeled as “difficult” and are not taken seriously by healthcare workers

  • We hope to reach women across the globe and educate them on their bodies

  • We are eliminating shame and taboos surrounding women's health

  • Normalizing being assertive and demanding better care from doctors

  • Educating medical staff on medical gaslighting and how to avoid it

  • Fund research for these kinds of chronic illnesses
